This recipe is not exactly Julie Child’s Boeuf Bourguignon; believe it or not it’s simplified a little bit. Stir in the wine and beef broth and bring to a gentle boil. Flipping through many of her recipes you might actually notice how many of her recipes happen to actually be incredibly nourishing and healthy, in fact even Paleo! I’m not trying to get all Julie and Julia on you here, I’m just saying that Julia Child is awesome. 1 bottle red wine preferably burgundy but pinot noir works fine. Ode to Julia Child and her Boeuf Bourguignon recipe. It was not until Julia was in her late 30’s that she began to pursue the creative career that would launch her to stardom. It is already essentially a paleo recipe. I personally do not follow a Gluten-Free or Paleo diet (something that is probably glaringly apparent with my dairy and gluten filled posts) but have friends that do for various reasons.
