Ask 10 Paleo devotees whether or not they eat white potatoes and you’ll get 10 different answers. Cut the tops off of all the turnips and rub coconut oil around the outside. Turnips, similar to celery root, used to wallow at the bottom of my crisper whenever they’d show up in my veggie CSA box. Not anymore. Coat turnips with coconut oil (or olive oil) and spices, making sure turnips are tossed well.

Turnips have never been my go-to tuber but with a nudge from a friend, i decided to experiment.

This is a list of 7 healthy and satisfying paleo meals. Ingredients: Coconut oil, Frozen Veggies (mine has Broccoli, Cauliflower and Carrots) , Eggs and Spices. I usually prepare quite a bit of the mashed turnips and also eat them with my lunch the next day. Peel and slice 2 turnips and coat with coconut oil and season.
