Another Italian classic we’ve paleo-ized. The first, pasta with ham and broccoli, we’re still working out (It’s hard to get an uncured ham steak that tastes just right! ) , but my favorite meal growing up was linguine with clam sauce. You know the classic pasta dish, linguine and clams? No reason that we still can’t enjoy the things we once loved! One of my favorite things to do is recreate recipes that my husband and I once loved! One of my main goals when creating recipes is to make cooking as easy as possible, and that’s exactly what I’ve done with this dish, I’ve made it super simple, and much healthier! I was inspired by an old recipe I once used for Linguine With White Wine Sauce, from America’s Test Kitchen, so I recreated that recipe into my very own amazing paleo “pasta” dish! If you love (or loved) linguine and clams, you’ll definitely love this dish! Happy cooking! Now I can once again enjoy my favorite pasta dishes with these fresh-tasting, delightfully green zoodles: low in calories (unlike pasta! ) , naturally gluten-free, paleo friendly, and an excellent way to trick yourself into eating more vegetables. Then added the clams and white wine, simmering until slightly thickened, just five minutes, before adding salt, pepper, parsley, and butter.

As always, I used a Paderno Spiralizer to make the Potatoes into Potato Pasta! A family recipe for white clam sauce reborn as a wheat free alternative!

One of my favorite meals growing up was when my mom would make linguine in clam sauce. We make this old-time favorite of mine paleo by using spaghetti squash, seasoned only from the sautéed vegetables, and topped with clams fresh off the grill. Linguine with White Clam Sauce II.
