I’ve recently learned that most people have no clue what Irish Potato (Candies) are. Upon looking it up, I found that it’s a treat that has originated (and stayed) in the Philadelphia area. I had no idea this was a Philly area thing, as I’ve seen most other recipe bloggers say as well when posting their versions. 2 years ago; Crispy Prosciutto Snacks (Paleo).

Think it’s because Potatoes aren’t as nutritious as Sweet Potatoes? I did enjoy them for years before RA hit (I’m Irish-American, after all! ) Potato love runs in my genes (unfortunately so does RA). White potatoes: beloved by the Irish, downed in vast quantities as chips and fries, and a lethal agent of Neolithic poison and disease?
