This lemon meringue pie is refreshing, tart, rich, and luscious, just like Grandma’s, except it is loaded with whole food nutrition, and a flavor that tastes truly delicious all the way down to your toes. Ohhhhh! It’s very rich, very lemony, and very yummy, with blended lemon pulp, coconut milk, and beaten egg whites on top. 1 cup heavy cream or coconut cream (use this method to whip the coconut cream). So, back to the key lime pie, can I make the lemon meringue filling and use key limes and then use the graham cracker crust recipe? Key lime is my husbands favorite, I have a recipe from the Nordstrom Cook book which is REALLY good, but I would really like to be able to have a slice: o).
