Paleo Chicken Casablanca

A Moroccan inspired dish with chicken thighs slowly cooked in a great combination of herbs, spices, dried fruits and vegetables. It’s a Moroccan inspired dish that’s so flavorful and so different than the usual stew that you’ll probably almost feel like you’re standing in Casablanca. The Casablanca Carrots were suggested and so they went on to my list.

I follow a Primal Blueprint eating plan, or what some like to call the Paleo Diet, and thus like to know what food is best for me at certain restaurants. I found this recipe on a Weight Watchers related website and knew I had to try it. The only non Core ingredient are 4 tablespoons of currants which spread over the entire dish are just 2 points or 1/2 point per serving.

It was glorious, and I enjoyed every non-paleo bite. Diced chicken breast, steamed cabbage, and leftover Casablanca Carrot Salad (a new Well Fed 2 recipe! ).
