Sweet and sour is comfort food for me. My family used to go out to chinese food almost every week when I was young.

Along with the recipe below, I’ll probably make my Chili Lime Nuts, Korean Beef Wrapped Asparagus, and of course a few batches of my Real Deal Chocolate Chip Cookies. A recipe for paleo Asian meatballs in a pineapple Glaze. I also used sesame oil, ground ginger and some crushed red pepper which pairs nicely with the sweetness of the pineapple juice.

They are getting their Asian flare from the use of ginger and fish sauce, and these have a unique taste that most meatballs don’t bring to the table. They then go on to create a sweet and sour sensation with each meatball, sticking a toothpick into each one and making sure you get a bite of both peppers and pineapple.
